“Transformers” electrified the box office, generating $200 million in domestic ticket sales in five days — the second-highest opening take ever, according to final figures out Monday.

“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” which opened Wednesday, took in $108.9 million of that total from Friday to Sunday, according to Hollywood.Com Box-Office.

Only the latest Batman flick “The Dark Knight,” which posted $203.8 million in its five-day debut last year, got off to a more lucrative beginning.

The following figures are the usual Friday-Sunday tallies.

Last week’s leader, “The Proposal” ($18.5 million) dropped to second place, followed by “The Hangover” ($17 million), “Up” ($13 million) and “My Sister’s Keeper,” which opened at $12.4 million.

Rounding out the top 10 were “Year One” ($6 million), “Taking of Pelham 123” ($5.4 million), “Star Trek” ($3.7 million), “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” ($3.6 million) and “Away We Go” ($1.7 million).

The dozen top-grossing movies earned a combined $192.8 million over the weekend, up 7.02 percent from the $180.2 million earned by the 12 top films during the same period a year earlier.
